A Retreat For Golfers

An escape not only for wildlife or migratory birds, Kranji Sanctuary Golf Course presents an opportunity for golfers to escape the city and enjoy a round in a resort-like atmosphere right on mainland Singapore.

Designed by the legendary Black Knight Gary Player, this 18-hole course has a links-style feel and sets up well to provide a good challenge for golfers of varying abilities. It plays to a comfortable length with very generous fairways, and has a few interestingly placed challenges thrown in for good measure.

The facilities at the clubhouse are modest but ample. Although there isn’t a driving range, it has excellent short game practice facilities. Function rooms located in the clubhouse are great for hosting corporate golf events. For golfers who need to stock up on their golfing supplies, the pro-shop at Kranji Sanctuary is worth a visit. It is home to local apparel brand Revo Golf, the pro-shop stocks up on a great range of fashionable apparel from shirts to pants, all at affordable prices. And yes Singapore’s very own KJ, along with his wife Celia, runs the shop.
