A Grand Entrance To The World Of Premium Saloons

09 Oct 2019

Mercedes-Benz unveiled the new A-Class Saloon at The Esplanade’s Annexe Studio with a spectacular showcase which incorporated a dazzling array of colourful lights accompanied by music and graphics played on mirrorless screens. The visually-stimulating set up brought out the energetic yet contemporary character of the A-class saloon, which set new standards for the compact car segment yet again.

Held alongside a fashion showcase by renowned designer 3.1 Phillip Lim, the A-Class exuded heightened levels of effortless refinement, with its puristic design and revolutionized utility. A total of 300 guests including existing and potential customers, media and valued partners were also treated to an exclusive performance by Charlie Lim, followed by a lively set by the renowned DJ, FVDER. Sumptuous delights and specially crafted #JustLikeYou cocktails made with The Botanist gin added to the buzz of the night.

The A-Class Sedan as the seventh model further expands the range of compact cars from Mercedes-Benz. The four-door saloon car has a wheelbase of 2729 millimetres and the proportions of a dynamic and at the same time compact saloon car with short overhands at the front and rear. It is at the top of its segment with regard to rear headroom. Familiar A-Class virtues include modern efficient engines, and a high level of safety thanks to state-of-the-art driving assistance systems.

But it was the new A-Class’ Saloon’s intuitive and individualised technology, MBUX – Mercedes-Benz User Experience, that stole the show, impressing the crowd and revealing itself to be the perfect companion that brings a completely unique customer experience to life.
