Aston Martin DBZ Centenary Collection

28 Oct 2019

The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Continuation and DBS GT Zagato are a very special pair; as part of the DBZ Centenary Collection, only 19 will be created for a very select few at £6m for the two. Built over 4500 hours, the reworked vintage Aston DB4 GT comes replete with a classic look and interior finished in rich black leather over carbon fiber racing seats, with a wooden steering wheel taking center stage; a 380 bhp straight-six engine with four-speed manual transmission powers the rear wheels. In contrast, the DBS GT Zagato is based on the ultra potent DBS Superleggera with a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine, and embodies the next evolution in Aston Martin Zagato design language, a statement of luxury, exclusivity and purity inspired by the voluptuous shapes that previously dressed the original DB4 GT Zagato. Beautiful and dramatic, the DBS GT Zagato appears to flutter to life on start-up, as the flushed dynamic grille opens up to allow the car’s twin-turbo V12 to breathe.
