The combination of M Dynamic Mode together with the M xDrive system’s rear-biased set-up gives the driver the tools to execute sporty manoeuvres, including controlled drifts with the new star-spoke designed 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in black/grey finish.

The M-style cockpit design and modern luxury of the interior is now trimmed in full Merino leather/Alcantara upholstery, and is also available in a Black/Sakhir Orange colour scheme for the first time to bring a refreshed look to the cabin. Black Alcantara sections now extend to cover the instrument panel and the tops of the door shoulders.

Replacing the standard M sport seats with exposed carbon-fibre reinforced plastic M Carbon bucket seats in new leather/Alcantara upholstery adds authentic racing-car flair. Illuminated with an “M8” badge in the head restraints, the seats boast a combination of racing functionality with excellent comfort over long distances, are heated and electrically adjustable with memory function on the driver’s side.

For greater ease of use, BMW Live Cockpit Professional features a large 12.3 inch control display with touchscreen for quick, easy and intuitive operation of vehicle functions. The inclusion of the driving assistant, parking assistant with reversing assistant, telephony with wireless charging and Harman Kardon Surround Sound System as standard on the new BMW M8 models further underlines their exclusive character.
