Infocomm Leaders Golf 2016

01 Aug 2016

Golf is a game full of fun, challenges and networking opportunities. Such is the charm that attracted the federation’s members and guests to the Infocomm Leaders Golf 2016, and in attendance to grace the event was Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Singapore’s Minister for Communications and Information.
The annual golf event for members and guests was conceptualised by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation and held at the Raffles Country Club’s (RCC) Lake and Palm courses. A total of 248 members and guests were in attendance, all looking for a day of fun networking and to enhance the camaraderie within the infocomm community.
As in their careers, these entrepreneurs and professionals rose to the challenges of the game by playing on what was considered challenging courses in RCC. The tournament was based on System 36 Stableford, and based on count back. In collaboration with The Connoisseur Concerto, golfers were treated to delicious mini burgers, mini pies and desserts paired with Chivas 18 years whiskey sponsored by Serena SoftwarePte Ltd at the different rain shelters located within both golf courses.
The fun didn’t just end on the greens, continuing through to the evening beginning with an endless serving of Cornery’s popcorns during the cocktail session as well as the introduction of X-Mini’s new Evolve wireless headphone set that marries sound and technology. The dinner proper started off with thank you speeches from both golf organising chairmen, Andy Sim and Yuh Woei as well as the announcement of the golf winners and presentation of lucky draw prizes to 50 lucky winners.
All present were having fun participating and taking in the festivities whilst enjoying wines sponsored by ACA Pacific Technology (S) Pte Ltd till the close of the event.
