The new Cleveland CG Black irons incorporate a Low Swing MOI and utilize a thin, high-strength steel clubface that greatly increases COR to give golfers a higher launching shots and longer carry distances that will hopefully lead to lower scores.

Just like the rest of this lightweight family, the CG Black irons are not any different. These are the lightest irons Cleveland Golf has ever created, making it easier to swing them faster without increasing swing effort, this the company believes leads to increased distance without sacrificing accuracy. The CG Black irons have an increased head and ball speed, which results in more distance achieved through utilizing the lower swing MOI and Speed Innovation technology. The thin, high-strength steel face creates a larger area of maximum ball speed, plus it allows for more perimeter weighting for more accuracy and consistency.
