POWER AND ELEGANCE
Its four-door practicality notwithstanding, there is little subtlety in the all-new BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupe. Just looking at its bold stature, you get the full impact of what this car is all about – pure driving pleasure packed into a neat, stylized body that is characteristic of a BMW Gran Coupe.
The front section is expressively accentuated with a dynamically elongated silhouette leading to a “powerfully designed” rear. The wide BMW radiator grille positioned below the headlights featuring an innovative structure of vertical and diagonal bars inside and the large lower air inlet give the all new BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé a low-slung, road-hugging appearance. The standard Adaptive LED headlights come with glare-free matrix high beam, cornering light function, and blue accentuations.
A discreetly embossed “2” highlights the Hofmeister kink at the rear of the elongated side window graphic. The rear derives its powerful, modern appearance from an especially ample surface structure broken up by just a few lines and flat lights with a striking notch. Further accentuations for refined dynamic performance are provided by the M Sport package Pro.
The all-new edition of the BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé is longer by 20mm compared to its predecessor and is now to 4,546mm with a wheelbase of 2,670mm. The width of the vehicle is 1,800 millimetres, and the height has been increased by 25 millimetres to 1,445 millimetres.

The M Sport Package with adaptive M suspension and sport steering found in the car comes standard, as compared to being an optional add-on in other models. Together with the improved rigidity, the adaptive M suspension enhances both agility and long-distance comfort by means of variable, mechanically controlled, and frequency-selective shock absorbers.
Pressure peaks within the shock absorbers are smoothed out by means of additional valves acting on the traction side. With the Adaptive M suspension, the vehicle is lowered by up to 8mm and includes sports steering.
The further refinement of the chassis includes optimised kinematics and new shock absorber technology. The increased caster offset of the front wheels ensures stable straight-line driving and optimised steering feedback. Standard features also include directly controlled wheel slip limitation, an integrated braking system, and 19-inch M light alloy wheels.
Additional features enhance the driving pleasure provided by the car. Standard features include the Driving Assistant with front collision
warning, Lane Departure Warning, exit warning and Speed Limit Info, as well as the Parking Assistant with Reversing Assistant.

The dynamically backlit interior trims made of milled aluminium likewise contribute to the car’s refined and athletic premium ambience.

The rear seat backrest offers a 40:20:40 split, while the storage volume is 430 litres. The range of standard equipment for the car has been significantly expanded and now includes BMW Live Cockpit Plus featuring the cloud-based navigation system BMW Maps. For example, the Equipment Package Professional includes BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Head-Up Display and Augmented View on the Control Display, as well as Parking Assistant Plus with 3600 surround view.
QuickSelect is now available in the BMW iDrive based on BMW Operating System 9, enabling all main vehicle functions to be accessed directly without having to switch to a submenu. This allows multimodal operation using touch functions, voice control and multifunction buttons on the steering wheel. Upgrades to the BMW ConnectDrive lets drivers add slected vehicle functions for a specific period of time, and the new BMW Digital Premium, which offers country-specific entertainment services such as music and video streaming, news, and gaming, is also available for the all-new BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé from the BMW ConnectedDrive Store.
