Rosewood Phnom Penh Partners with Vattanac Golf Resort for the Inaugural Vattanac Legends Championship

PHNOM PENH, November 14, 2025 – Rosewood Phnom Penh is proud to announce its official partnership with Vattanac Golf Resort as the host hotel, alongside KLV, for the first-ever Vattanac Legends Championship in Cambodia. The tournament, part of the distinguished Legends Tour for professionals aged 50 and over, will take place from November 21 to 23, 2025 at the resort’s award-winning East Course. This debut edition marks Cambodia’s arrival on the global golf map as the fourth Asian country this year to host the globetrotting tournament. With more than 1.75 million YouTube subscribers, the Legends Tour enjoys a continuously growing audience of golf enthusiasts worldwide. Among the celebrated players participating are champion names such as Michael Campbell (2005 U.S. Open, winner), Stephen Dodd (two-time 2005 European Tour winner and 2005 WGC-World Cup champion), Peter Baker (three-time European Tour winner and 1993 Ryder Cup representative) and Scott Hend (current frontrunner of the Legends Tour).

Award-winning Golf Courses
Hosting the championship is Vattanac Golf Resort’s celebrated East Course, winner of Best Golf Course in Cambodia at the 2024 World Golf Awards. Sculpted by six-time Major champion and designer Sir Nick Faldo, the course harmoniously weaves dramatic water features, inventive bunkering and native flora with cultural references including scale models of Angkor Wat, Preah Vihear and Bayong. Also featured is the West Course, the resort’s earlier award-winner (Cambodia’s Best Golf Course 2021-2023 and Asia’s Best Golf Course nominee since 2021), where statues of King Jayavarman VII and the Terrace of the Elephant evoke Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage.
