Citi Golf Day is Citi Singapore’s biggest franchise-wide client hospitality golf event. Held on 14th July, more than 220 Corporate Clients and Citibankers from across the different business groups within the bank were invited to the annual “golf gastronomy”, where they mixed the pleasure of golfing with an amazing spread of epicurean delights and beverages from well-known restaurants in the city.
This year, guests were treated to a variety of golf items such as a box of Citi-branded Titleist Pro V1 golf balls, FootJoy Utility Pouch and Titleist Caps. Additionally, guests were also given a choice to select from a range of goodies including a personalised Titleist Ultra Lightweight Standbag, FootJoy Hyperflex Golf Shoe, a TaylorMade Aeroburner Rescue club and a FitBit HR wristband.
In celebration of SG50, golfers were treated to a unique Singaporean experience such as traditional ice cream scooped from an old school cart on top of international favourites including handmade mini burgers, Australian fresh oysters, mojitos, lychee martinis and sake.
In addition, the tournament also saw some friendly competition from four National Golfers at the greens, as players pitted their skills against them at the Novelty holes. Players also had the unique opportunity to gain some valuable tips on how to improve their golfing prowess. Following tradition, the event ended with a sumptuous buffet dinner and a prize-giving ceremony for winners of the golf tournament. The Overall Champion Team with a total of 81 points went to James Lye, Cheng Jiin-Suey, Marcus Mak and Paulus Liauw.
